How to crochet a Wave – Peekaboo – Ajour – Pattern – Blanket

Hello my dear friends!

Today I will show you a pattern that I used for my Baby blanket. It is a beautiful pattern and it is really easy to work with. You can crochet it in different bright colors – each color for 3 Rows – or in your favorite color. It will look amazing, always.

I used Schachenmayr Bravo Yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. My Baby blanket measured approximately 60 cm x 60 cm (24 x 24 inches). Cast on 114 and work 60 cm in Peekaboo pattern. If you want it larger increase the number of chains – 16 chains for 1 Rapport. For the border you can work 1 Round in sc and end with 1 Round with crab Stitches.

To show you the pattern I worked with 34 chains (16+16+2)

Row 1: work only sc, (=33 Stitches), turn

Row 2: chain 1, 2 sc, ch1, skip 1, 1 hdc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 tr, ch 1, skip 1, 1 tr, ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 hdc, ch 1, skip 1, 3 sc, ch1, skip 1, 1 hdc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 tr, ch 1, skip 1, 1 tr, ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1, 1 hdc, ch 1, skip 1, end with 2 sc, turn

Row 3: chain 1 and work only sc in each Stitch (=33 Stitches), turn

Row 4: change color, chain 1 and work only sc in back loop – insert your hook into back leg of your Stitches (=33 Stitches), turn
